Our Posting-addicted Friend CJM Has a Good Point...

Who is the third greatest honorary Poekicker?

The list of honorary Poekickers includes:
1. John Lennon (for obvious reasons)
2. Keith Richards (because he is fucking Keith Richards, man)

and well that's it. Vote for #3! No list of candidates, no criteria, just submit your vote.

(No ballot stuffing CJM!)

Wow, right between the eyes and I never saw it coming. That's good shooting, CJM.

But lest this poll decend into acrimony and pesonal attacks (yeah I know it's little late for that), I cast my vote for The White Horse Tavern's own Dylan Thomas, or is it B.J. Thomas, I am always getting those 2 confused.

How about Edgar Allan Poe?

This raises an interesting philosophical and metaphysical question. Can you be a Poe and a Poekicker at that same time?

According to Einstein's theory of relativity, an object can not occupy more than one position in the space time continuum. Ergo, you can not be the kicker and the kickee at the same time.

However, quantum mechanics describes phenomena on the atomic and subatomic level that are simply unimaginable under the laws of relativity. Under Quantum mechanics, a quark, for example, can be in two places at once, or more accurately, it says that it can't be said for sure that they aren't in the same place at the same time.

So assuming we are talking about a quark-sized Poe, then yes, Edgar Allen Poe could conceivably be Poe himself and his own kicker.

Spooky.

Maybe its Stacey Koon, that cop that kicked Rodney King? He's got a strong leg...or it could be Garo Yepremian. Not sure who would be #3 and #4 respectively.
