This is a pretty good trick:
1) Write down on paper the year you were born.
2) Write the year of a major event in their life underneath birth year
3) Write down age as of Dec. 31st, 2006
4) Write down # of years that have passed since the major event in life
Add up all the numbers, Click comments below and Mr. Wizard will amaze you!

The Hubbub has better standards that this! As an example, see last week's Sunday Haiku submission. This little Wizard trick is nothing but obfuscation, a magician's shorthand. You are adding two numbers together that can only result in being the current year, 2006, and then you are adding two other numbers together that can only result in being the current year, 2006, and then your are adding those together: 2006 + 2006 = 4012. It's not even worth writing a long Comment about.
Oh, is that how that works? I thought I was really magic....
