Well that's what he gets for befriending the coke-addled, royalty depriving, ego-monster that is Robbie Robertson.
(I am not sure what one thing has to do with other either, but like Levon Helm, I never pass up a chance to take a shot at Robbie.)

The Swami was correct, the award was not WON by Scorsese but was awarded to Scorsese as a tribute to his lifelong work and lack of an Oscar over the years, this particular work of his did not warrant the award. The actual award was deserved by another. The Swami has spoken.
