The only other best date was October 15, 1983 when I declined a chance to see Michael O'Neill and Simple Minds at Madison Square Garden and had a few beers in a dive in the Bronx instead. It was a godsend people.
These folks may not be rock stars but perty dern famous also born today...

Please be assured that I was not inferring I was actually a FAN of all of the birthday "rock" stars listed. Actually the only one I really like is Kim Carnes, I just cant get enough of that Betty Davis eyes song...
