Elvis was at his coolest at the 1972 Aloha Elvis TV special of his live show from Hawaii. He hadn't divorced Priscilla yet so his fatness and depression hadn't totally taken over; yet, he knew he was cool and he had an ironic smirk on his face sometimes during the show because he knew how phony showbiz was.
As a Uterine-American I actually have to cast my vote for pre-army Elvis.
Such a sweet southern Mama's boy face. So damn cute. Like ridiculously cute.
